Apa artinya menjadi seorang Ibu? Apakah karena memiliki anak? Apa artinya menjadi seorang entrepreneur?
» Read the rest of this entry «

Between right and wrong
Between the have to’s and want to’s
Tangled in envy, there’s motivation
Body so tired, mind so awake
Yearning to dance
… to move to beats I don’t understand
Between love and frustrations
Between friends and lovers
Tangled in expectations, there’s always hope
Heart so tired, yet curious
Yearning to be fulfilled
… to share that secret joy » Read the rest of this entry «

I haven’t been here in a while
How are you?
How have you been?
You makes me miss me
I haven’t been here in a while
A place where I’m reminded of who I am
Of the person I love most
Of the person I adore
Of the person I long for
Of the person I sometimes forget
I haven’t been here in a while
Confessing my sins
Celebrating my mistakes
Creating new dreams
Believing in something
I haven’t been here in a while
… a little place I created a long time ago
my heaven
my soul
my voice
Thank you for letting me visit you
Thank you for letting me create you
Thank you for reminding me
of this life
I love.

Do you dare to dream?
Do you dare to dream
until your eyes light up
filled with enthusiasm and joy
Do you dare to dream
to truly taste and feel
what it must’ve been like
to live in that dream
Do you dare to dream
that no matter what people say
in your little heart
there’s a knowing
that this dream is possible
Do you dare to dream
that each day you wake up
you can’t help yourself
but to think of this dream
Do you dare to dream
to dream so big
that you have no space for fear
Do you dare to dream
to dream so loud
that people are aware
of this insanity
Do you dare to dream
to dream so passionately
that you’re willing to be called
a fool
Do you dare to dream
to say honestly
this is what I truly want
and nobody can stop me from
making it
into reality
Do you dare to dream
until you catch yourself
silently smiling
just from thinking about it
… Then you realize
dare to dream
is just about
staying true to who we are

On my way back from a meeting today, I saw a huge billboard digitally printed, saying “Let’s make Indonesia green.” And I say to myself, isn’t ironic, don’t you think? (While singing Alanis). Then, at work, Mas Alex and I were discussing ‘Brand Image.’ It triggers another question: Is it how you want to be perceived, how the world perceives you or how do you authentically show your best self to the world? Well, I guess if we have nothing of worth to show to the world, then we’re pretty much screwed. Hehehe.
It is a question I struggle with though. What is my Brand Image? What’s my Brand? Until now, I’m still not sure how to answer that question. But, as I’m compiling our Mid Year Meeting Results, I’m once again reminded of these two sentences I was asked to complete:
- My goal is to be …
- I will be known for …
And I ask myself, is this part of the process of understanding who I am (again)? Is that what branding process is about? That it’s not just about creating our image, but creating ME? If there’s a design process for every product available in the market, why shouldn’t I design me: the kind of person I’d like to become and be known for. » Read the rest of this entry «
